What is the challenge?

The Body Breakthrough Challenge (BBC) is a 4-week MEPs-based challenge designed to push you both physically and mentally. This year, we will be awarding over $5,000 in prizes including $3,000 in cold, hard cash! 

Digital raffle tickets will be awarded throughout the challenge, with the first being awarded once 1300 MEPs is achieved. For every 500 MEPs earned after 1300, an additional ticket will be awarded. All prizes will be raffled off at our Finale Party on May 21st. If the winners are not present at the finale, they will be notified via email.

During the BBC, you will use a MYZONE heart rate monitor to track your progress in real time and push yourself to new fitness heights. We will also provide you with some tricks, tools and advice through an eBook, BBC newsletters and with in-club support from our team to help you breakthrough this challenge and other every day life barriers you may be dealing with.

The BBC will run from 4/16-5/13, with registration beginning 4/2.

1300 MEPs earns you a virtual ticket

For every 500 MEPs earned over 1300, earns you an additional ticket

In order to be eligible for prizes, participants must:

  • – Complete initial InBody between 4/2-4/22 and final InBody between 5/14 – 5/20: You will receive an email confirmation with the day and time of your assessments with the Fitness Director at your club
  • – Earn a minimum of 1300 MEPs

How do I sign up?

You can sign-up in-club through your Fitness Director, at the front desk or online here: https://republicbos.com/bbc

After you sign up, you can pick up your MYZONE belt and welcome swag pack in-club from the Membership Team.

How does it work?

The challenge is based on the completion of your initial and final InBody assessment at the club* and your accumulation of MEPs or “MYZONE Effort Points.” You will earn a virtual raffle ticket when you earn 1300 MEPs. Each additional 500 MEPs will earn you another ticket. The more tickets earned, the more chances you have to win a prize!

*You will receive an email confirmation with the day and time of your InBody assessment with the Fitness Director at your club

What is 1300 MEPs equivalent to?

The WHO guidelines for physical activity include accumulating (at minimum) 150 minutes of moderate intensity cardiorespiratory exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity cardiorespiratory exercise (or a combination thereof) per week. That is an average of 300 MEPs per week or 1300 MEPs per month. Further, the WHO guidelines include performing resistance training and flexibility two days per week for all major muscle groups.

How will I know if I'm a winner?

All prizes will be raffled off at the BBC after party at TOWNE on May 21st at 6:30 pm. You will also receive your BBC tank or t-shirt here if you completed your InBody assessments and the challenge requirements. If you cannot attend, please let the Fitness Director at your club know. If the winners are not present at the finale, they will be notified via email.
