Specialties

After completing her undergraduate degree, Kate spent 8 years as an active duty Army officer working as a dietitian. She provided nutrition counseling and wellness education in hospital, training and deployed environments to both military members and civilians of all ages. She also did corporate wellness events and outreach for civilian companies and athletic groups.

Training Philosophy

Healthy food fuels our daily activities, fitness goals and promotes future wellness. I became a dietitian because I enjoy motivating people to accomplish their goals and make peace with food. Nutrition is not one size fits all as fad diets want us to believe. Nutrition should be personalized for the individual’s lifestyle, goals and preferences. Many people are committed to exercise, but without good nutrition, your strength, endurance, and immunity will be hindered. Healthy eating is not about sacrifice and restriction. It is about finding a balance that keeps you fueled for whatever your future holds.
